a face to rez 1000 ships

Okay, I had all these vague ambitions to come up with some kind of superfabulous costume for the History Repeats party last night. Helen of Troy was just my emergency fallback, but turned out pretty well. Since I accidentally slept all day yesterday (oops!), Helen of Troy it was.

The costume starts with the dress, the Theda Bara Gown from The Laughing Academy (comes with additional poofy skirt, but I went for the sleek version). I got some lace-up sandals to go with, high-heeled for a modern look, from Armidi. The hair's one of the styles that came out in ETD's recentish reopening, Chel, which I always thought would look lovely as part of a Greco-Roman-inspired look. Skin's another of the Candace Bollywood line makeups from Genesis, and the jewelry is also from Genesis.

The Autumn set, like so much of the jewelry at Genesis, is scripted texture-change. There are seven metal options and five wood options. View the larger version of the above pic to better appreciate the differences in textures and detailed workmanship of the necklace!
